Blackwood Springs' purpose is to assist businesses lead, manage, engage and develop people - simply, practically and affordably in a safe working environment. Blackwood Springs' Principal, Rick Knowles has more than 30 years' experience in Human Resources management, predominantly in the manufacturing and construction sectors, in addition to local government.

Rick Knowles has specialised skills in workplace relations, certified agreements, industrial advocacy and generalist human resources activities over many years. He is well placed to service the general Human Resource Management needs of the Goulburn Valley/Campaspe regions.

We believe that to succeed in business you need to treat people with respect while at the same time ensuring that your employees understand what is required of them and how they contribute to the success of the business for which they are working. Businesses prosper when everyone has a common goal and clearly understands their role in achieving that goal(s).

All businesses must constantly innovate, change and adapt, and they need to clearly enunciate this to their employees. After all, businesses must be profitable to grow and prosper.
